Norwegian avant-garde rockers Virus have posted a new track, titled "Inverted Escape", which can be streamed at the following location:

The song is included in the band's new EP, titled Oblivion Clock, which will be released in December 2012.

Carl Michael's vocals are influenced from the work of Scott Walker and indeed they can be tedious in their digestion.

It takes some time to get used to them.

I always thought Scott Walker was a possible influence, but I had never confirmed it from the band themselves.
