Metalcore up and comers Motionless In White have uploaded the lyric video for their new track 'It If's Dead, We'll Kill It'.
The bands new album 'Infamous' is released November 13th via Fearless Records.
Definatley prefered this to 'Devils Night'.
song goes hard.
Digging: Waxahatchee - American Weekend
Band can do no right it seems
this leaked btw
Digging: L'Orange and Stik Figa - The City Under The City (Instrumental)
Way better than devils night. Still not amazing but not bad.
The album sounds like Antichrist Superstar. Don't get too excited. This song is one of the few that kept the MIW sound.
Digging: Of Mice & Men - Restoring Force
Wtf is this shit
Digging: Mansions - Doom Loop
Why are people so stoked on this band?
Oh wait. Is it ironic?
the lyrics are so stereotypical of what my grandma thinks these "metal" bands say
Digging: Kendrick Lamar - good kid, m.A.A.d city
"'It If's Dead, We'll Kill It."
it's not even funny how the rest of the album sounds nothing like this song.
when they can get their point across intellectually then come talk to me
you can use bad words without having to wash your mouth out with soap.
I use bad words all the time andcas. however these lyrics are infantile
the lyrics are pretty fucking cringeworthy at times, but i still kind of like the song overall for some reason. this band is a huge guilty pleasure for me.
well you're in for a big fucking shock since the new album is mansoncore.
did it leak already?
yeah and to say the two singles released are misleading is an
understatement of the year. its different, really really different,
but all it does is put a MIW spin on dark 90's nu-metal bands.
hmm. i don't like nu-metal but i'm gonna check it out, i really want to like it. i like the gothic vibe this band has, which i thought was kind of lost on the first new single, devil's night, which sounded like generic synth-infused risecore crossed with slipknot. this song is better though.
the rest of the album sounds like if marilyn manson, rob zombie, and nine inch nails went metalcore.
yeah i cant get into this new album at all
Is this seriously a song on the new album? The opening bit and the chorus sound fucking awful. The rest of the song is flat out mediocre.
It's official: I'm skipping the new album.
Digging: Anamanaguchi - Endless Fantasy
you actually have to hear it. the rest of the album sounds NOTHING like this. take that either for better or worse.
i'm halfway through and it's not as bad as i thought it would be, but not as good as creatures. it's decent, but unfortunately the lyrics sound like they were written by a 12 year old who just learned the word "fuck." like seriously, someone should count how many times he says it because it's actually sort of comical.
it's like the metalcore version of this:
lol yeah he loves the word
this is probably like a 2.5.
I think I pretty much nailed it with my sound off and rated it a 3.
listened, its a 2.5
band is dumb. just listen to MS
Saw this band at a show I went to in Dallas... they're performance was laughable, worst fucking band there.
Not sure about the rest of the album but this song is sweet.
Digging: Summoning - Stronghold
They're exploring their Manson influence more? Thank God. That was the only part of their music I found interesting. I'm actually going to listen to this.
The scenes they ripped off from horror movies were the only entertaining part of the video.
"They're exploring their Manson influence more? Thank God."
when did they ever have a Manson influence besides image?
This was MUCH better than their previous song they released. This sounds like musical progression from the first album. To each his own though.
You never caught the Manson voice he did in one or two tracks? It may have only been one song, but he pulled that scratchy, low Manson voice thing.
"And when the dead walk the earth, the living will fill these coffins."
song is fucking awful and so is this cancerous band
Digging: In Her Own Words - Everything I Used to Trust
Eulogize honestly look at your ratings you have no room to talk about any bands be cancerous.
As for this album, it's completely different than Creatures and nowhere near as good. Like in the 2.5 or 3 range.
@cutman, I guess he does kinda sound like marilyn manson in that
part but the fact they "embraced" his sound on this new album isn't
interesting when they went from slight influence to all out plagiarism.
Oh well, at least people can't really call the new album "genericore"
now they're just a total marilyn manson tribute band with no identity.
Oh yeah, Chris does the Manson voice in Scissorhands.
"I keep myself alive, just to die more everyday."
Yeah I'm on my second listen of it right now and it's getting worse. Definitely nowhere near as good as Creatures. Sucks because this was one of my most anticipated albums of the year.
Chris made a statement that Infamous would be a lot different, and would divide fans. He was right.
I mean, I'm still a fan. This just wasn't what I was hoping for.
making songs blatantly sound like ones already created from bands
you look up to isn't being different.
He meant different from Creatures, and usual Motionless In White. Don't take it out of context andcas.
alright well listen to (S)aint from marilyn manson then compare it to MIW's self-titled album track.
I will when I get home, I'm at school and everything is blocked. Really surprised they haven't blocked this yet.
yeah, it's puzzling and annoying. I even hear some korn in infamous.
issues era korn.
Whatever it is, it's bad.
I should've seen this coming when chris starting using a knock off of
marilyn manson's iconic anti-christ superstar podium while on stage.
they all are.
You misunderstand, andcas.
I'm saying a Marylin Manson cover band would be more interesting than what they were.
yeah honestly... this song is shit.
Digging: Wolfheart - Winterborn
I'm listening to the album now. The first song honestly slayed pretty hard. It was straight BT ripoff but I love BT so I don't care. A-M-E-R-I-C-A is so laughable terrible though. How many more sound like this?
This band was always terrible and they're hilariously bad live
eThe show I went to they killed it, especially Chris. His vocals sounded great live.
