The fact that the Underoath "brand" covered extreme metal, "pop-core", metalcore, post-hardcore, ambient, and post-rock territory and did all of them well is pretty impressive.

Yeah this band hasn't made a good album since DTGL, which I was about 18. So this I kind of saw
happening. Every band has it's run when it comes to the metalcore scene.

And "Anthology" is just so they can some extra bucks before the band retires, but I don't blame them.
Between that and their 2013 tour they'll probably make a decent load of cash.

Sad to see them go, but this was inevitable.
