thijsvanleer "landmark release lol"

What's so funny about that statement? AOJB is pretty much the Bonded by Blood of the metalcore genre, and easily one of the most successful/acclaimed records in the genre's history. It's a pretty accurate statement.

Or Worcester, for that matter. They're from the Springfield area, though, which probably has some to do with why they're in NH

I agree that its a pretty important album. Should be a cool show. Never seen them with Jesse. But they are skipping the bmore/dc area it seems.

The album was def a landmark release. It popularized the whole melodic metalcore movement that is still fuckin going on now. Even if you hate the shit it was still highly influential and still a great album.

Yea no kidding. His voice will be shot halfway through the tour anyway, unfortunately.

It'll just be worth it to hear these guys perform Just Barely Breathing and Rise Inside live for the first time ever. How the hell they've managed to escape the setlist so easily before is beyond me.

Not much of the KsE Ho-Jo era appealed to me. I didn't find the albums completely awful but only a few songs of The End of Heartache, even less from As Daylight Dies and about half of their latest did anything for me.

AoJB is fucking win though. Always has been for me and probably always will be. Don't care how lame metalcore is/was this album is a regular on my playlist and sub genre's be-damned this is a righteous metal record.
Hearing that Jesse rejoined the fold sparked my interest in the band again and I can only hope they play this front to back in Aus.

It's just this one class that's bad. It's 3 hours straight of racism masquerading as a class about diversity in psychology.

Northampton, MA. Are you kidding me? Why aren't they coming to Boston? That's messed up. I need to find a way to get to this show.

KSE (and most of the Mass/CT core bands) started in the North Hampton/Springfield area. That is a homecoming show if I've ever seen one.

When I was in my early 20's (back in 98 or so) Pearl Street was the place to see bands like Blood Has Been Shed and Overcast. That was the heart of the scene.

Are you sure? I thought they were from Boston. The bassist even went to school at Berklee. Oh yeah, you're right. Origin:Westfield, MA. Ah, well. I'm sure one of my friends will want to go and I can hitch a ride.
