It was alright. Pretty boring though.
|
| |
These guys are still together?
|
| |
ABR wannabe's. They suck.
Digging: The Wonder Years - The Greatest Generation
|
| |
i never got into this band but it sucks they will forever endure the label of ABR rip offs
|
| |
I don't know why they think writing the same song over and over again is a good idea.
|
| |
Their first ep is the best thing they've done.

Drums at the beginning are a hollow copy of Poor Millionaire or White Washed. Leads are much better than usual. Vocals have improved but he has no range. 1:10 would have hit harder if we didnt hear it coming seeing as they've written this for 2 entire albums. Seriously these guys need to switch it up
Digging: Male Bonding - Nothing Hurts
|
| |
wasnt horrible, but it was pretty boring.
Digging: Czarface - Czarface
|
| |
Is it just me or do these lyrics make no fucking sense, like they thought of a bunch of different phrases that sound average-cool and through them together.
|
| |
^^^ lmao, seriously.
|
| |
Not that great, but definitely better than anything off their last album.

Digging: Baths - Obsidian
|
| |
yeah, one big meh
|
| |
These guys are really good at being consistently lame.
Digging: A Pregnant Light - The Feast of Clipped Wings
|
| |
This should be good for a chuckle. Kinda liked their first LP in a guilty way. But their last record was pretty meh.
|
| |
boring band continues to be boring
Digging: Supercell - Today is a Beautiful Day

Hey guys guess what.
ABR released a new track too.
Digging: Laura Stevenson - Wheel

Texas in August.
|

These guys just continue to be boring ABR wannabees. They need to change their sound or give up because by now they've really overstayed their welcome.
Digging: King Crimson - Lizard
|
| |
who cares if they sound similar to abr? many bands sound alike. i thought this was good and a step up from their other works
|
| |
yeah agreed wack. this is boring
Digging: Made Of Hate - Bullet In Your Head
|

"who cares if they sound similar to abr? many bands sound alike. i thought this was good and a step up from their other works"
This is different. They're like direct rip offs. And there's been quite the ridiculous trend where every time ABR does/announces something, TiJ does too. Like how they both released the first new track off of their upcoming albums which are both to release on the same day last I checked.
|
| |
Yeah they don't even try to distinguish themselves from ABR, they feed off of it. How ABR can stand it enough to tour with them I have no idea. And I'm in the minority who didn't mind "I Am"
|
| |
"How ABR can stand it enough to tour with them I have no idea."
Publicity.
|
| |
that was awesome
|
| |
ABR doesn't get publicity from this band by any means, what do you mean? Not many people can possibly go to an ABR/TIJ tour not knowing ABR and going for TIJ. And if they are, I don't want to know them
|
| |
They need to tune the guitar like they did on I Am. That was the only good thing they had going for them.

but obviously they're still in the game and have some kind of fanbase

Texas In July is the third best band from their neighborhood.
Digging: Corrosion of Conformity - In The Arms of God
|
| |
generic
Digging: Kalmah - Seventh Swamphony
|
| |
They'll get TiJ's fans along with their own. Not to mention, nobody likes jerks in the music business. Refusing to tour with them may not be a good decision.

August Burns July
|
| |
Band is really awful
|

July Burns Red.

Their first ep is the best thing they've done. [30549305903593]

Not that great, but definitely better than anything off their last album.[2]
Adam Gray is great on the drums though.
Ps: he and Matt Greiner are good friends, so that makes it for the tour and ABR comparisons.
Digging: Strawberry Girls - French Ghetto

I'm pretty sure they're all friends. adam's drumming is superb
