that is the worst feature list I've ever seen hahaha
btw, why is lil wayne on here? did his skateboarding career not take off? that's shocking....
|
| |
This is a comeback
|
| |
@SGGreenman this was probably recorded before wayne made the announcement.
|
| |
@andcas did you give this a listen? compared to most the mixtapes that have been released lately where every track sounds the same Busta actually mixes up his flows and there are none of his extremely fast rapping parts that he's been doing as of late.. one track even reminds me of "set yo ass on fire"

FLIPMODE!
|

don't call it a comeback

could of done better than Young Money.... =/

Looking back, I feel like I posted this more as a warning of Busta Rhymes' future moves & a farewell to his previous career
that was just full of eccentricity & fueled towards the true hip-hop movement of the 90's but I guess every rapper has to grow
& move towards their own direction. Just look at Snoop Lion.

What's the difference between an album and a mixtape?

mixtape is usually recycling contemporary beats for the sake of showcasing another's take on 'em and it's usually free
|
| |
Ah, that makes sense. Thanks for the info Dun.
|
| |
Plus they put them out to tide fans over until the album comes out. Most of the times, the beats are the ones that didn't make the cut for the album. Plus you can use them to showcase new talent etc, while keeping the "established stars" as guests for the main event (the actual album)

Okay nerd

Schooled

yeah np man
gotta say that the mixtape is a funny thing. technically these artists can get sued for giving away others' beats freely or
unauthorized sampling and yet this avenue shows no signs of slowing down. Mac Miller has already been sued twice
i'm not complaining. i love 'em. just interesting
|
| |
Which songs was Mac Miller sued for dunpeal?

here's the link
