I'm glad I got the impression the Stephen Hawking voice was just for the trailer. Otherwise... Well... I didn't like it when Taproot did it, and if The Faceless did it, too, I'd wonder why this was a trend.

The music from the trailer wasn't really anything to write home about, but I'll listen to this when it drops nonetheless.
Digging: Laura Stevenson - Wheel

The music from the trailer was from that pre-production song they released ages ago. But yeh, trailer sort of got me psyched for the album.
|
| |
Can't wait for this
|
| |
Sounds really decent. I'm liking that guitar lead that plays near the end of the trailer.
I doubt the album will differ too much from Duality. Maybe a few more weird noises...?

yes, about time. I'm ready for this one.
|

The first release from the album was something I'd expect from a B side of Planetary Duality. HOWEVER, "Deconsecrate" is a huge step forward. DAT SAXAPHONE.
|
| |
Fuck yes

How is it that much better bands put out an album within 2 years but they take 4 years to make a technical death core album
Digging: GZA - Liquid Swords
|
| |
they had to use differential calculus to write their songs
|
| |
Looks interesting. I like the album art.
|
| |
Fuck ya on my birthday!
Digging: Ghostface Killah - Twelve Reasons to Die

Can't wait for KILL's review for this.
|

I'm pretty excited for this. Micheal said they used alot of different instruments recording the album because they didn't wanna use fake synth patches and what not, so the recording should sound organic. The album artwork is pretty cool as well.

"How is it that much better bands put out an album within 2 years but they take 4 years to make a technical death core album"
The fact that they lost most of their members in the past 4 years probably didn't help.

Michael Keene said on twitter that the new album is 9 tracks clocking at around 42 min. I was scared for a second. After 4 years I thought they were gonna make another 30 min album.

Stephen hawking
|

42 minutes in 4 years is still ridiculous.
|

"42 minutes in 4 years is still ridiculous."
