Rob Zombie/Marilyn Manson Tour

2012-07-13 by Raul Stanciu STAFF | 44 Comments
Rob Zombie and Marilyn Manson will co-headline the Twins Of Evil tour which is set to start in October and run through December, with dates in both US and Europe. Korn's Jonathan Davis will join them on select dates with his DJ-ing project, J Devil, that, in his own words, is "the Anti-Christ of EDM". The trio are also planning "theatrics" and "ghoulish imagery," with the stage set to include animatronic robots, pyrotechnics and fearsome film clips.

In a press release, Zombie had this to say about the tour: ""Finally! Why did the most obvious tour take so long to happen? Who knows? Who cares? It's happening now! If good taste is the chief enemy of great art, then we should be able to fill the Louvre with this fucking tour. Be prepared for something wicked this way a-coming."

That act must be really bad. I think he wants to be Skrillex now since he invented dubstep back in the 90s with Korn.

Zombie's Mars Needs Women video has some of the theatrics and animatronics he uses and it's really cool. Still, Manson needs to strengthen his performance as Zombie will be a lot better live.

Zombie is fun live, but Manson is boring as hell these days. "J Devil" just seals the deal on how lame the whole thing is.

J Devil was probably some faggy-ass nickname Jonathan Davis game himself.

Zombie is pretty awesome but Manson? Not soo much. I see him as much more shock and awe than actually being a muscian. Upon reading this i imagained him actually pretending to be one of the animatronic robots while Rob was playing lol and JD joining doesnt add much to the show i think. Hellbilly Deluxe 2 was pretty cool.

There can be no greater evidence that these two musicians write shitty music for shitty people than that they tour together.

"I see him as much more shock and awe than actually being a muscian."

Manson's first four albums are much stronger musically than any Rob Zombie album. Rob Zombie is much more of a "shock and awe" and less of a musician than Manson.

Nevertheless, Zombie puts on a fun show now and Manson is pretty damn terrible live nowadays. And fuck Jonathan Davis.

While Manson is practically a genious i dont understand the appeal of his music. Ive had most of his albums and have had a lot his songs come up on shuffle and i just cant bear it. Maybe you can suggest a really good album from him? The only song i have come to enjoy is "The Beautiful People" (of course) and one other that came upon randomly. But Manson has been known as the "freak" that makes kid do drugs and fuck their dog and whatever...and he does some weird shit on stage too.

Zombie really just wears makeup and likes to look like he got fucked up and have a lot of chicks stripping lol But yeah, JD is worthless.

They're not coming here, awesome!

Davis needs to be quiet, metal/rock doesn't mix well and if you're just pressing play Deadmau5 will have to sue you for using his terms.
