Californian industrial metallers Static-X have announced a summer tour across America commencing on July 15. The self-styled "evil disco" group will be touring without original bassist Tony Campos, who states: ā€œI’m proud of my years with Static X, and want to see the name of the band stay alive and well. I hope that all of our fans will continue to support both Wayne and I in our individual endeavors.ā€

This is strange, I remember reading an interview Wayne did back when he released Pighammer where he said he had no intention of returning to Static-X anytime soon. Still though this is good news hopefully they make a good comeback album

Anyway guess Campos is busy with other projects. Let's see, he's left Ministry (who he still recorded with) but he's still got: Asesino, Soulfly, Possessed, and Prong. Asesino, Soulfly and Prong have all had albums out this year or will have albums out this year (afaik Soulfly and Prong already do, Asesino will have one (La Segunda Venida?)), so he's a very busy boy.
