This song would be sick if there wasn't someone whining through most of it...

meh, lyrics suck. Love kellin in this though
|
| |
actually didnt mind this

I liked the way the instruments sounded around the 3 minute mark.
|
| |
never liked these guys but that song was pretty awesome.
Digging: Faith No More - The Real Thing
|
| |
that was pretty great, actually.
Digging: Supercell - Today is a Beautiful Day

I liked this.
|

I enjoyed this quite a bit, as expected.
|
| |
this has to be one of the best uses of a featured vocalist; loved the trade-offs between the two
|
| |
Mehhhh, had potential but gosh those lyrics are terrible, the music is decent but not good enough to save the song.
Digging: King Crimson - Lizard

always fun
|
| |
Catchy, but the lyrics.
|
| |
PTV : my guilty pleasure
|
| |
rules except for the part with the guest vocalist... vics vocals are all that song needs
Digging: Anamanaguchi - Endless Fantasy (??????)

didn't think the lyrics (well, the ones i could decipher) were THAT bad.
|
| |
Fun and full of energy, though its hard to stomach some of the lyrics. Overall 3.5/5 Makes me excited to see where they go with the rest of the record.
Digging: Kylesa - Ultraviolet

Yeah I'm kinda disappointed in this. It isn't terrible, but it's not good either. And I can't stand Kellin so that didn't help at all either.
Hopefully the rest of the album is better than this.
|
| |
I can handle only one whiney singer at a time, plus Kellin sucks so I won't listen.
Digging: The Dillinger Escape Plan - One of Us Is the Killer

I'm really liking this I didn't hear anything from their last album but I think I should give it listen now.
|
| |
pretty decent. not a huge fan of kellin's parts though. hopefully, the rest of the album is better.
|
| |
vics voice has gotten a bit deeper, still very dope though. this band has always stood out to me. such solid instrumentals.
|
| |
Song isn't terrible
|
| |
"I'm over sleeping like a dog on the floor"
I really like that lyric for some reason
|
| |
there's stinkers but also a few good lines.
|
| |
yeah same thoughts on the lyrics. some lines that stand out as particularly
cliché/scene/sound like they were written by a 13-year-old include:
"red for the drink that's mixed with suicide"
"three cheers for throwing up, pubescent drama queen"
"and if the bass shakes the earth underground, we'll start a new revolution"
"come at me, now this is war"
"fuck with this new beat" *breakdown*
"dying is a gift, so close your eyes and rest in peace"
This song sounds like it was written by a different band than the one that wrote A Flair For the Dramatic.
|
| |
I thought it was extrmely well written.
Digging: The Front Bottoms - Talon of the Hawk

Average, nothing more. I did enjoy Selfish Machines though so we'll see if they can top that effort this time. So far, it's not a good start.
Digging: Elos Arma - Mother/Father
|
| |
This easily tops anything on Selfish Machines in my opinion. I also like the lyricism.
|
| |
Band's been talented since still being Before Today.
Vocals and lyrics are pretty 10th grade though. Oh well.
|
| |
unsurprisingly awesome. sounds almost as good as selfish machines
|
| |
wtf did i just listen to?
|
| |
Ummmmmmm yeaaaaaaaa
Digging: Klaus Nomi - Klaus Nomi
|
| |
has it's moments, not as good as anything from SM

i mean did you even listen to selfish machines
if they got rid of this sorta shit then they wouldn't be pierce the veil so fuck you and fuck your parents too
|
| |
"three cheers for throwing up, pubescent drama queen"
that's mint as fuck yo
go celtics!
|
| |
I have to agree though this song would have sounded better if it was just Vic, as his voice is starting to deepen a bit.
|
| |
"red for the drink that's mixed with suicide"
????
|
| |
Cringe worthy lyrics
Poor execution
Boring
1.5/5
|
| |
who cares about the lyrics? Song rules.
|
| |
Graveyard did the symbolism go over your head or something?
|
| |
Yeah I've been following these guys since 07, and I always thought Vic's lyrics were consistently awesome... Until this song.
Regardless, I still have faith that the rest of the songs on the album could be great lyrically.
|
| |
"and if the bass shakes the earth underground, we'll start a new revolution now!"
Yeah, gay.
|
| |
song is actually pretty cool, the lyrics are still bad, if it wasnt a lyric video i wouldnt mind as much.
|
| |
Hoooooly fuck that is bad. I quit.
|
| |
liked this
Digging: Twenty One Pilots - Vessel
|

they have always been one of the more interesting scene-esk bands in terms of instrumentation.
Digging: The Wonder Years - The Greatest Generation
|
| |
this is gonna be overrated by a certain group of kids. the song sounded alright, lyrics are not my fancy.
|
| |
this is a good song and i honestly have no problem with the lyrics. i just thought the breakdown and its transition were awkward. "fuck with this new beat" was stupid.
Digging: Sabertooth Zombie - Midnight Venom

Liked this quite a bit
|
| |
I actually like this song quite a bit. It is a lower part of the album though, the entire album however is very solid. I'm waiting for a review, however it's not officially released so...
