decent song
Digging: Still Corners - Strange Pleasures

Pretty much what I expected. Sounds like 50000 other bands. Like a second rate Unearth, As I lay Dying etc...
These guys are about as creative as a bag of sand.
|
| |
I still like their debut album for some reason. Everything since is not worth listening to.
|
| |
the only word that comes to mind, meh.
Digging: Faith No More - The Real Thing
|
| |
Video is probably as bad as the song. Won't be watching.
|
| |
Better than the rest of the bands of rise records but nothing special
|
| |
not bad actually
|
| |
"Better than the rest of the bands of rise records but nothing special"
The Color Morale is easily their best metalcore band, I think.
|
| |
top comment: "creativity? you think these lack creativity? god, what band would you call creative then?.."
Digging: Sabertooth Zombie - Midnight Venom
|
| |
"The Color Morale is easily their best metalcore band, I think."
I agree with you. With Memphis May Fire at a close second.
|
| |
Guano is correct and this song was just more meh...I did like that guitar lead in the intro though
Digging: Bad Rabbits - American Love
|
| |
Video is meh. Song is better.
Digging: Darkest Hour - Deliver Us
|
| |
boring
|
| |
I like the song, video is kinda cool. Anyone else think when Levi is floating underwater that he looks like Hermione in the lake challenge from Harry Potter 4?
Digging: The Dillinger Escape Plan - One of Us Is the Killer
|
| |
Song sucks. And no they're definitely not the best band on Rise. Like previous comments said, TCM and MMF are both better. A hell of a lot better imo.
|
| |
the bled was the best metalcore band rise has probably ever had.
|
| |
"I like the song, video is kinda cool. Anyone else think when Levi is floating underwater that he looks like Hermione in the lake challenge from Harry Potter 4?"
It just reminds me of the video for In Division by Underoath.

Agreed. Rise still has/had better bands, but those are the best of their current metalcore, at least.
|
| |
Im looking forward to the other song from the teaser they posted. Think its called Ballad of a Broken Man or something. Sounded pretty promising.
|
| |
at least the cleans sound more real this time around.
Digging: TesseracT - Altered State
|
| |
Not half bad. Video is interesting.
|
| |

Digging: Cerna - Restoring Life
|
| |
Reminded me off the underoath video for In Division. With the drowning and shit.
|
| |
"the bled was the best metalcore band rise has probably ever had."
agreed.
And the ending to this video looks fucking retarded with Levi fake stabbing some old guy. Its so laughable watching a guy trying to scream and stab someone while trying to look badass. It just doesn't work.
|
| |
lmao
|
| |
This band sucks so horribly bad.
|
| |
SO HORRIBLE
|
| |
Its not that bad but I bet this new album is gonna be average
Digging: TesseracT - Altered State
|
| |
Just like all their other shit, unfortunately.
|
| |
Ballad of a Broken Man sounds promising, for about 15 seconds. Still generic as shit though.
|
| |
^Agreed
|
| |
These guys say that they want to be classified fully as "Heavy Metal" and not be stereotyped because of their record label
This is not a step towards that direction Miss May I
|
| |
ew, fuck this band.
|
| |
The cleans in this band just need to end... (and they've been more prevalent with every release)
Don't really get it since the guy can't do it live anyway.
|
| |
not bad, just completely forgettable.
Digging: Supercell - Today is a Beautiful Day
|
| |
the singer doesn't even look like he'd be the one to do the cleans.
|
| |
Crap
|
| |
Cleans are so much better, screamer still kinda sucks though, although this band is still a guilty pleasure of mine.
Digging: The Wonder Years - The Greatest Generation

This reply is aimed toward me. This guy has inboxed me about 6 times since. He really wants to prove to me that this band is creative!

It's funny, because these guys are about as creative as a special-ed arts and crafts class.

Song wasn't that bad to be honest. Certainly nothing special, but better than anything they put out on their last album.
|
| |
Terrible song, cheesy lyrics, and extremely bad live. A band should be able to play their music live and put on an enjoyable show... I was bored the whole time then After the Burial and WhiteChapel played and the show was exciting again.
Also, the guitar tone in this song is just stupid.
|
| |
I had the displeasure of seeing Whitechapel last December and they were horseshit. Except for the drummer. The drummer is pretty damn good.
|
| |
Idk I've seen them 3 times and everytime they have killed it. I definitely noticed a huge difference when I traveled to Las Vegas though. The sound system they have at the Hard Rock Cafe there is nuts. Best sound I have ever heard in a venue. And Miss May I still sucked on it. All the other bands sounded just like their CD's though which was awesome. And After the Burial always sound like they do on their CD's because, they are just badass live performers haha.
|
| |
^ For a moment I thought you meant "killed it" as in they were good. Then I realized what you were getting at. Every video I've seen of them implies that they have a lot of studio magic to make them even listenable.
