The Darkness comparison is so true. This is the strangest thing I've heard yet this year.

Funny, one of the reasons I never bothered getting into Gallows was cos I thought Frank Carter was an
utter knob. Hey ho.

Also, the irony of that song after this (skip to 3 minutes):

not really sure how quitting your successful/popular band because you're bored with it and doing something new and completely different equates to "selling out"

frank obviously wanted to be apart of something with more mainstream radio appeal, if you read interviews with gallows he wanted them to be a big queens of the stone age-esque world-renowned rock band, he definitely sold out.

i don't often complain about "selling out" because i realize that that's often not the case in these types of situations, but come on its pretty obvious here.

he went from

"We have no fear, we have no pity.
We hate you, we hate this city."

to

"I'm so sick of singing about hate,
it's time that I made a change"

come on lol

still looks angry when sings but is not angry/sick of being angry. does not compute.

Selling out would be staying in Gallows despite hating the music, not forming a new band with a completely different sound, with which he was always guaranteed to be hated for.

it's hard to take this seriously but newbies definitely will.
