This is disappointing and Sam's vocals are just getting worse and worse. I hope the rest of the album finds the "Hollow Crown" style and Sams vocals begin to sound like they were on ruin or hollow crown. Song was okay but man they can do so much better, especially lyrically.

I liked the fucking pigs line actually. The line before that where he said he couldn't find any poetry in it basically admits that it's a stupid line but he's SO ANGRY. Sounded cool, I liked it.

I hated the production on the vocals on HC for some reason. I like these ones better. And I don't think the lyrics are completely horrid but that one line "eyes roll back, chemical despair. It's true what they say, life isn't fair" is pretty cringe worthy.

Hmm. That wasn't bad, I guess. Sounds like they've hit the exact middle point between The Here And Now and Hollow Crown. It was an alright song, possibly a grower. I honestly think I liked 'Day In Day Out' more the first time I heard that than this, although I'm hoping it's one of the weaker tracks.

People that think the lyrics are awkward are probably well aware of "what's going on" the lyrics are just awkward and having it as a sing-along video really doesn't make it any better. Seriously bands, stop making these fucking videos, I always put them on then look at another tab do I don't get scared away by the lyrics.

The vocals on HC grew on me, and now it's one of my favourite albums. They really do make the record what it is.
I'm slightly disappointed with the entire massive melody thing they're trying to achieve. It sounds too much like THAN.

When I listen to Hollow Crown nowdays I get pretty bored half way through until the last track. They really should go back to Nightmares sound, that album was really enjoyable, but the recording is really thin sounding.

Lyrics would be better if Sam really knew what he was talking about, it's like he just watched a documentary about the corruption with politics and money within the US a week before recording.

Btw I like the song alot more than I did the first time I heard it. It's better when you don't watch the video and just listen imo.
