Amon Tobin Box Set 2012-03-07 by Deviant. STAFF | 26 Comments | Months after the news that an extensive Tobin collection was on its way, Ninja Tune have now finally revealed details regarding what is sure to become known as the holy grail of all things Amon Tobin.
Packaged in a "bolt-fastened mechanical 'press'", the set is comprised of seven CDs, six 10" releases as well as a DVD. The majority of the material has either never been released before, or unavailable in a physical format. This includes selections of Tobin's work for film, TV, and video games (some of which were never used for the final product), as well as songs from his Monthly Joints Series. Also included are exclusive remixes by Tobin himself, as well as remixes other artists have done for him.
The acclaimed audio-visual live act for ISAM is also well documented in both CD and DVD, as well as a recording of The London Metropolitan Orchestra performing versions of Amon Tobin's songs at Royal Albert Hall.

ISAM Live was good...he played the whole 'slowstep' shit for an hour and a half in Chicago, then laid down some good ol drum and bass with the...visualizations. Decent. LORN laid a good set down as well. Don't hate on Lorn....If i ever had to fight as Batman against the dark crusaders, I would listen to Lorn and be like Ryan Braun, batting at least .400
