I can't help but laugh at this song.

The obliviously ignorant political ranting being what makes up their lyrics gives them an automatic 1/5 the only reason to laugh at the video is at how ignorant and shitty the band is.

These guys are fucking garbage. The band has no talent. the lead singers voice is annoying and pretentious in all his pseudo intellectual rantings. If this is what kids in the bands home country are subjected to, then it is a damn shame that these assholes have a record contract at all.

The drums suck dick, anyone could do it better. The singer is whiny & the growling is absolutely laughable.

0/5 for the song

1.5/5 for the video

One of the worst bands I've personally ever had the displeasure of hearing in quite some time.

Everyone should boycott these assholes.

Which member of the band shat in your cereal Eons?
They're not good, but not abhorrent like you describe them, I thought the video was quite funny.

Jeeeeez so much heat for this album. Im gonna get crucified for saying it but that was pretty awesome. The song is fun and different, the bass lines are pretty sick which is weird for any type of "core", and brought back some good Ron Burgundy memories. Keep it up guys.

'love their political ranting'

that's because you're an idiot.

'and probably my favourite song on the album, cant wait to watch'

also because you're an idiot.

The video is a lot better than the song. The production of this album is just atrocious. All the recordings I've heard sound unfinished. Like, the mixing seems really bad. I don't know how to describe the sound other than "empty". Especially during the breakdowns, all I really hear is tinny sounding drums.

"The obliviously ignorant political ranting"

Give some examples. The lyrics of this song sound pretty accurate to me.

Yeah, this is terrible. Agree on the "empty" production

i'd rather listen to their political rants than the same bullshit in hip-hop about money, cunts, and making it

I swear some people instantly hate any band associated with politics

If you're one of those, you should probably headbutt a knife or summat

I hate all the hate on here. It actually pisses me off, just because a band is so popular amongst a certain culture instantly means the entirety of Sputnik is against it.

Sure the band aren't as talented as say Dream Theater, or maybe not as deep and emotional as Bon Iver, but they've done something different here. And this album isn't bad at all, in fact, as much as I disliked Take To The Skies and Common Dreads, this album has really surprised me. I don't care about the political rants, they give the band character, and they are renown for all this, as pretentious as they are, there is meaning in these songs.

Maybe if songs like Stalemate and Constellations was to be made by another band, who hasn't hit mainstream yet, I'm sure you guys wouldn't be so afraid to say, 'this isn't so bad'.

This album isn't great - Take to the skies and common dreads are BOTH better, man.

The albums good and the song is good....its different in a good way. Annoys me to see that when any band tries to put across anything vaguely political they instantly get put down as being ignorant! The line about using money for military power and ignoring the environmental issues this planet is getting put through is nice. I mean its certainly not deep or anything that anyone didn't already know but its better then hip hop artists rapping about getting bitches haha

Their first two albums weren't bad, but even though they are trying to do something different it just ends up as being uninspired and bland, especially the dubstep parts. And dear god, the production...

MyMentality quiet down. I'm a huge fan of Common Dreads and Take To the Skies but I even think the new album is shit. They tried something new but it didn't come out perfect, HOPEFULLY they will be able to concentrate their efforts more and successfully create what they attempted on this album with their next release

What the hell? This is what half of the site has been obsessively hating on for the past week? The other song I heard sucked, but this is not bad at all. I'll have to check this album out.

People who despise political lyrics bother me... I'm no expert on their political stances, but it all sounded fine to me in this song. I note no one has actually stated why the politics are ignorant, even when asked...

I thought that was pretty fun. Not nearly as awful as I was led to believe.

I thought the video made the song better because it was mildly funny. They are reeeeally poor live though these days.

Also I think the guitarist looks like a mix between Sam Worthington and Chris Humphries.
