New Punchline EP 2012-01-04 by Statrick Pickles | 8 Replies | 1255 Views |
With the advent of the new year, Pittsburgh's hometown heroes in Punchline have decided to release a new five-track EP entitled So Nice To Meet You. In an attempt to surmount the iTunes charts, the band has only released the EP in digital format thus far, with bassist Chris Fafalios even vowing to leave the band if the release does not reach the number one spot, according to their Facebook. Previews of the EP and more information on its release is available over on the iTunes website:

I really wanted the last sentence up there to say:
Previews of the EP, along with some shitty consumer jokes about how it's "the best $5 I've spent so far in 2012!" are available over on the iTunes website.
but then I feared for the news article's existence.
still, this whole spiel with the iTunes charts and the bassist is sort of comical

Sorry, but Pittsburgh's "Hometown Heroes" are the Clarks and Donnie Iris.

haha you got that right jimmy
got into a conversation about donnie iris earlier this semester with some yinzer broad at a party because i was really trying to fuck her friend. bullshitted my way through it beautifully and had this girl convinced that i was a true blue yinzer, bleeding black and gold every damn day. so maybe an hour later she leaves the party and tells her friend that she can stay and hang out with me (to which i'm like fuck yes, this was the point). lengthier ending shortened, she still didn't come home with me. even after all the fudged donnie iris quotes. bitch.
