Converge to record this month

Guitarist/producer Kurt Ballou has recently stated via his Facebook page that, following a number of production tasks that he has yet to complete, Converge is to begin recording this month. Though Ballou did not specify whether the recordings are to surface as their highly anticipated eighth studio album, tentatively titled All We Love We Leave Behind (as stated in Decibel magazine), it was previously announced on New Year's Day that the band had finished writing for their follow-up to Axe to Fall (http://www.theprp.com/2012/01/01/news/converge-finishing-up-writing-new-album/), and in that same article, that they would be recording soon, likely what Ballou was referring to in his Facebook statement.
The full statement reads:
"Busy month - currently mixing a Torche record their bassist, Jon[,] recorded, then mixing a Frank Turner tune, then Converge practice, then more High on Fire recording and mixing, then Converge record! Woohoo!"

they always make some type of transition stylistically from album to album, its so refreshing. They never do the same thing twice, they never sound the same twice.

@eternium I actually here more leaning towards straight up hardcore/metalcore on Crashing. Axe to Fall has parts that literally sound like old school Exodus or Megadeth.

Hopefully if that does end up being the album title, it's not in reference to this being their last record. Not that I want that to happen, but I feel like all these dudes are involved in so many projects these days and the bands been together for so long that converge won't be around much longer.....
