Testament lose drummer

Paul Bostaph, Testament's drummer in the critically acclaimed album The Formation of Damnation, has officially parted ways with the band.
Due to a serious injury earlier this year, Bostaph had to leave Testament's drum kit, in between the recording sessions for the new album, entitled The Dark Roots Of Earth. For that reason, Gene Hoglan was recruited to finish the drums and join the upcoming tour.
Nevertheless, Billy confirmed that Bostaph will continue to thrash his drum kit for Testament, upon the completion of Bostaph's recording sessions with his side project. However, the latter chose to leave Testament, for reasons relevant to the formation of his new project BlackGates.
