Song is about a 3.4/5 in addition to The Cranberries being the fucking Cranberries. Dolore's solo stuff was great so I have no fear of this sucking.

Great news. I quite like the first song there, a bit simple, but sounds like classic Cranberries which can only be a good thing.

Also, they're streaming a few other songs from the new album on their website:

Either they'll stand up and walk with some old school swag or they'll stand up and their knees will shatter

Good stuff. Sounds very much like The Cranberries have always sounded, but doesn't feel dated at all. Looking forward to the album for sure.

I love the Cranberries but Bury the Hatchet and Wake Up and Smell the Coffee were slightly average, their first three albums are great but they always were a stronger song band. Hoping the break gave them what they needed and this'll turn out right.

Now that the coast is clear, I'm moving out of here. It's time to disappear - with you, . to where the skies are blue. I want you by my side, don't look so mystified. You know I said I'd always take yo, throw silver spoons across the waves to you. Back when it a, I was your highway man. Now I've got a different plan For yo, with the stars above down on love beach. I'm gonna make lov, on love beach Make all your dreams come true, on love beach Gonna make love to you, on love beach Gonna make your dreams come true, on love beach Gonna make love to you, on love beach...,

Indeed, that was practically a punk song and it ruled because of it, one of their very best singles to go along with the quiet dreamy nature of their early work.

I have a feeling they might have something good in store for us here. Dolores is a great songwriter. I just hope she hasn't spent all her creative energy on her last two solo albums.
