Yeh, album is about a 3/ 3.5. Some great songs, then a lot of pretty dull songs. This is one of the great ones. Love it.

oh man that song was actually sweet! thank god, my hopes for this album are returning (the reason I care, btw, is cause Viva la Vida was a 5 for me)

I liked the video too haha

Didn't expect the album to sound like the way it does.

I actually enjoyed the abundance of synths and shit

Yeah they expanded on the electronic stuff they started tampering with on X&Y but they added some of the aspects of Viva too.

I like it, quite a bit. Seems like they're incorporating more dance-driven synthesizers as opposed to the cold, synthpop-ish synthesizers they experimented with on X&Y and bits of Viva La Vida.

DLing the leaked album now, amped to hear the rest, had no idea this was coming out so soon, thought it was dropping in like December. Haters can hate but this group really is one of the best "mainstream" rock bands of the 2000s, can't wait to see what they do this decade.

digging the FUCK out of this song. dl'ing the leak now, hoping for a 4/5 (which would still tie for their worst album in my fanboy eyes)

wow Aids, you are really digging this ha ha , doesn't it sound somewhat transparent and less emotional than A Rush Of Blood To The Head or X & Y ? I'm downloading the leak now too and I really hope the album is better than I expect. All their previous albums were from great to excellent

unless my track order is fucked, yeah the first song

and insomniac, i fucking love coldplay. i thought the ep was weak so i had my hopes down for this one, but this is looking like a 4.5

less emotional than AROBTTH for sure but it's got other redeeming qualities. the production is fucking phenomenal for one. but yeah im a fanboy and all their LPs are 4+ for me. I was really worried this wouldn't be, but yeah it kicks ass.

I love how Chris Martin repetively says that he's strived to make this their perfect album, yet its their weakest effort yet

i'm confused bro man maybe it's because I don't read the same newspapers as you do. Have NME or perez
hilton repetiveaditetly reported about chris martin striving to make an ok computer? you seem to be
really on top of shit fill me in

I am pretty disappointed by the lack of guitars. They'll be using a million loops and stuff not played by musicians on their concerts and that'll be pretty boring. Unless they play everything live the way they played Charlie Brown.
