Yeah fucking amazing lineup. Lots of shitty bands in there with some awesome ones. I'm keen to see a fair few bands so I am definitely going. Mastodon, System, Lamb of God, Devin Townsend, Meshuggah, Machine Head, Lostprophets, Alter Bridge Goijira and Chimara would all be worth seeing. That's enough for me. Oh and I'd probably go see Limp Bitzkit just to lol at Fred Durst if they don't conflict with any GOOD act!

yeah this is actually pretty good. might go. about 8 bands i'd really like to see, plus a few others that i'd kinda like to see. also i guess jack's mannequin is the token softer band that won't fit in at all this year.

There's more than 10 bands I want to see, with more to be announced later. It definitely warrants a ticket purchase, personally.

Last year I picked mine up for $130 I think, right after the first announcement, but they climbed after the second and third.

Davey, I saw Saves The Day perform Pinkerton at Bamboozle 2 years ago. It's definitely something worth seeing. They do a brilliant job with it.

Devin Townsend, Gojira, Meshuggah - it's Bloodstock 2010 again. Underoath too, would love to go to this. Darn you Aussies...

While I have no real interest in going to this I am very impressed that so many big name bands have been organised to tour little Aussieland at the same time.
This lineup also makes the current BDO lineup look like balls which strangely pleases me.

I think what many people are forgetting (or not realizing... or being ignorant to) is that this is a 1 day festival. It doesn't matter how many horrible bands (of the almost 80 in total) are on the bill... All that matters is that there at least 10-15 that you do want to see.

That's 80% of the pre-sale. Don't quote me on this, but I think they keep back at least 5,000 tickets for the general public sale, which is next Thursday the 20th.

They do hold back those 5000 tickets. I think he said capacity is 35000, so somewhere between 24000 and 28000 depending if you take those 5000 into account.

Definitely huge for SW. Supposedly Brisbane has sold a similar amount of tickets, but I know our venue holds closer to 50000. I think the craziest thing this week though is Melbourne/Gold Coast BDO tickets not selling out.
