As Cities Burn have announced that they will play the Unsilent Night 4 Festival on December 10 in Dallas, TX.
The band, including former frontman TJ Bonette, will perform together for the first time in two years, playing the entirety of their first LP, Son I Loved You At Your Darkest.

One of the few notable bands to come out of Louisiana. So sick that they're playing Son, I Loved You At Your Darkest. Fuck whatever anyone else has to say, it was easily their best release. Hope Ill be able to make it.

| |
son, I loved you at your darkest is their best album.

Son, I Loved You At Your Darkest is freaking incredible, wtf.
|
| |
Would love to see them stay together and make another album afterwards...
|
| |
^ I would love that as well. Some friends and I are driving 18 hours to see this.
|

I liked come now sleep

to the people who say SILYAYD was their best:
No.

WHY DALLAS
THIS BETTER LEAD TO A NEW ALBUM
|
| |
Son, I Loved You At Your Darkest came out when I was way younger and had more impact on me than any other album at that point in my life. I used to see them live around the time that came out, and it was incredible.
Come Now Sleep and Hell Or High Water are good, but they're not the same.

to the people who say SILYAYD was their best:

Whatttt. I would kill to see this. That album was hugely influential for me when I was fourteen.
|
| |
Wait, people care about ACB albums that aren't Come Now Sleep and Hell Or High Water? :|
|
| |
Come Now Sleep and HOHW are far better
|
| |
basically my same story behind loving the album witch.
|
| |
This is pretty cool, because I just discovered them a few weeks back.

Come Now Sleep and Hell Or High Water both are superb albums, and I have them rated higher, but there's something to the emotional intensity of SILYAYD that gets me every single time.
|
| |
Sweet. Their first record is kickass, haters don't know what they're talking about. It'll especially be interesting if TJ sings, I don't see that anywhere on their FB page but I hope it's true.
|
| |
so this is just for this show? i really love this band
|
| |
Cody Bonette played lead guitar on that album right? So they could potentially play any song from their catalog.
They why the fuck....

silyayd is awesome, wish i lived near there
|
| |
Yeah, I never found "Son, I Loved You At Your Darkest" when I was 14. I don't have the emotional connection. I recognize it as the subpar hardcore it is and I'm obviously a hater.
but this band needs to make another album.
|
| |

Guess who's flying down to Dallas from Wisconsin for this? Not a big deal. Probably the best birthday present I've ever received
