yeah I'm definitely a little surprised, more than anything I think it's a pretty cool coincidence? I've always like both Gallows and Alexisonfire, it'll be interesting to see how the meshing works out. It's just odd cause Gallows are over in the UK and they've got that real fuck off attitude and then Alexisonfire's up in Ontario which is basically love everyone land. will be interesting...

This suprised me (and I've been listening to Gallows since my freshman year). The only connection that I can think of is that Cancer Bats and Alexis... have been good friends for a while now, even contributing to each other's music. Cancer Bats and Gallows have toured together a lot and what not. I've heard/read interviews where they've complimented each other's music.

A bunch of bigger British hardcore bands are in a little group that tour together all the time and what not, and the Cancer Bats got included into that little club. Alexis... were from long before most of those bands formed though. That's the only connection I see.

Because I wasn't expecting much at all from it, and it almost pains me to say that I enjoy it because I love Frank's presence with the band.

Yeah, Wade won't be the same as Frank, but that's life. The track is still sweet and the album will probably be awesome. I doubt they will go as downhill as Your Demise did.
