Peter Doherty released from jail
2011-07-06 by Dr Dave De Sylvia STAFF | 6 Comments
Pete Doherty has been released from prison a month ahead of schedule.

The Libertines frontman was sentenced in May to six months in prison for possession of class A drugs. He was expected to be released in August with time off for good behaviour, but his release was unexpectedly brought forward another month.

Doherty still faces up to five years in prison if convicted of breaking into a record shop in Germany and stealing a guitar earlier this year.
