Time to call it quits I think.

yeah they've been recycling the same ideas for a while now
|
| |
Not bad but fairly boring : /
|
| |
I thought it was purdy good.
|
| |
its not bad, and it isn't original either. it is simply Silverstein, but good Silverstein
|
| |
New album is pretty good. Nothing new though.

Double post

I really liked it. the vocals are better. more raw.
|
| |
They always had one or two songs on each cd that i love, and this one just keeps that tradition going. First song on it kicks a lot of ass.
|
| |
Song was better than I expected
^hi neighbour
|

idk sounds like an identity crisis, they think they're brand new.
|
| |
I have no idea what to say to this...
|

That guy was a good author
I haven't heard his music though
|
| |
Funny I can't see anyone in the audience who looks to be over the age of 15...
|
| |
song's good. album's good. more of the same, but thats a good thing.
|
| |
Album is Silverstein being Silverstein, there's subtle improvements in vocals and intrumentals, but it is more of the same. As a Silverstein fan since Broken, this is not a problem.
|
| |
Agree with ^

Loved it. Heavier than most silverstein stuff and wasn't amazing but I liked it.
|
| |
I hate when the rock/post-hardcore/whatever you wanna call them bands start to turn into metalcore
bands. Sounds like that's what these guys are doing. (kinda)
|
| |
Haven't been a huge fan of them since Discovering the Waterfront, but this is actually decent. May check it out.

this is dece

wow, I'm actually kind of impressed by this. I haven't really listened to Silverstein in a long time because they were always kinda samey and "good" at best, but this was pretty solid.
|
| |
Funny I can't see anyone in the audience who looks to be over the age of 15...
Thats because anyone who has listened to them when they first came out has grown up and their taste in music has matured, unlike Silverstein themselves.
The song wasnt too bad but if you are still rocking out to silverstein at 25 then something is wrong with you.
As for the song itself, Silverstein has been doing the same generic stuff for like 8 years now and with this song it seems like theyre just trying to fool everyone into thinking theyve evolved by putting out a bland shitty "my first metalcore" record.
|
| |
I, also, like that Brendan from Counterparts was featured in this song.
Song is okay. They wish they were still as relevant as Counterparts, though.

I'm with andcas I was about to say... some genres and styles of music are timeless and it doesn't make you any cooler to try to act too old and too mature to listen to it. (not saying silverstein is timeless by any stretch, but I will always listen to some bands of this genre and love it regardless of age)

Band has always sucked. Bass player keeping it consistent with shitty stage moves I see.
|
| |
I call dibs on reviewing this. Not like that matters on here haha.
|
| |
Albums very goood.
Vocals on this song especially sound a lottt different then any of their previous works.
Suck my dick.
|
| |
Song kicks ass but the video sucks. Seeing all those scene kids in the video doesn't make me feel any prouder about being a fan of Silverstein......
|
| |
It's been said before; it's just Silverstein. They're just the same in my eyes, every album again. I like it every single time again though.
