Carpathian Go On Hiatus

Australian hardcore band Carpathian have canceled their US spring tour with The Carrier and have announced that due to other priorities the band will be going on an indefinite hiatus after a short run of Australian dates in April.
"The band has been an incredible ride for everyone involved and we are extremely thankful for the experiences and opportunities we have had to make music and travel the world. It has been the biggest part of our lives and touched on so many friends and family in it's almost 10 years of existence. Thank you to anyone who has had an influence on this band in any way...this doesn't mark the end but a new beginning".

I just heard about this, it fucking sucks. They're definitely not the best Hardcore band around, but they're one of the most prominent in the Melbourne scene. I'm from Melbourne so it's a bit of a big deal.

Definitely wasn't into this band but the last song on "Wanderlust" was kind of neat and I wanted to see if they'd take things in that direction. Guess we'll never know.

Gladly we still have Confession who I am getting right into. Carpathian never really did it for me, I think it was the vocals, wasnt a fan.
