@slay good point but kind of a moot point because glassjaw have 2 classic-ish releases under their belt, with a few more notable eps, including coloring book, its been over 10 years to reach the versatility of CB, whereas letlive are basically just starting..that being said glassjaw is still a better band, i just felt like ur point was a little out of place

since when could you judge a band based on... another bands' release?

Was just spinning Fake History today. New songs and Epitaph involvement are exciting!

It's also doubtful that they're trying to directly compete with Glassjaw. I'm just thankful that they're doing post-hardcore well when most similar bands have died out. Looking forward to this, as well as more popularity/shows.

yeah thats what i thought and i think the songs will be more or less the same lyrically probably more experimental sound wise but thats just because i dont seem them sticking to one style of post-hardcore

the rhyme scheme and general lyrics of LL. are pretty laughable at times, but theyre just so damn good.

Day 54 actually had awesome lyrics though, which is what I don't get. Why can't he write to that standard the whole time.

He writes most of his stuff around how the riffs are played, which makes for a phenomenal live presence.

o and forgot to say that alot of the personal meaing in some of the songs are hard to figure out unless u watch them live and listen to what he says

That being said I just ignore the lyrics and listen to the awesomeness that is the rest of the record.
