Went on a date with a bitch who's life revolved around this band. She turned out to be a horrible human being, and I subsequently have been ignoring these guys out of spite.

You're missing out man
|

I'm doing marketing for a show they're doing in Nanaimo. I didn't know anyone but me here actually liked these guys.
|
| |
is the link not working for anyone else?
|
| |
you can stream it on their myspace too if the link is down for anyone else...
|
| |
and for the epic quadruple post: the song rules, I like the direction they're taking
|
| |
I saw these guys live. They kinda suck
|
| |
he means "rule," not "suck"
clearly
|
| |
no, I mean, they were fun for two songs and then it was like OH WAIT THAT'S EVERY SONG THEY PLAY. Two of my girl friends love them and they were like, they sound a lot different recorded and turns out NOPE

I actually didn't like this song. It was quite disappointing, particularly as I was blown away by their sophomore release. I've also seen them live once - they opened for Matt Good on his Vancouver tour (the album, not the city). They were okay.

I have a crush on this band because I saw them in my shitty little city's shitty little bar with like twenty people about a week before O My Heart was released and they subsequently got "big" (touring with Matt Good, Sam Roberts etc.)
I talk to the band while hammered for a good ten minutes, they were pretty disappointed at the terrible turnout but it was a Thursday night and, like I said, my city is a piece of shit.
The song had some stupid parts, but overall I really like it the direction they're heading in.

Which city are you from, Aids? I take it that you're from BC?
|
| |
they're from Quadra Island, so Vancouver basically. I live on Vancouver Island but lived in Vancouver for a few years.
|
| |
I agree with thebhoy. Band is shit.
|
| |

|
| |
Great song, best album of the year as well.
