I was surprised by the fact that this was actually good.

I've only heard bits and pieces of their older albums, but this is the only one that I've ever liked.

Does anyone know how it compares to Stench of Redemption? Deicide's earlier stuff is great but I already know this effort is probably more similar to Stench...

I don't know much about this band (I've only heard a few songs) Is this at all tongue-in-cheek or are they really just completely annoying and one-dimensional?

I like their old material and Stench, but the guitar tone on this one annoys me.

this is pretty good, even though the lyrics are retarded (but i should expect that from deicide). he says something like "a revelation that has come to light has got you by the balls" on angels of hell. lol

@Gorification Yeah that line is pretty cheesy. I got my copy in the mail and reading through the lyrics I can't help but laugh at how ridiculous they are. Every song is pretty much saying the same thing. And Glen uses the word "Die" a shitload of times. I've never really put much stock in Deicide's lyrics though past Legion.

I'm really impressed with this album. I wasn't expecting this after the horrible "Till Death Do Us Part".

I guess I'm going to check this out. Sounds better than anything they've done in some time.
