I am PUMPED for this album....
HippieT is PUMPED!
dig it. except iron & wine is "he" not "they," therefore "his" not "their"
he has a stable band around him now or so i'm told.
Digging: Sad Lovers and Giants - Feeding the Flame
does he? maybe that's why this song doesn't sound really much like him at all. anyways if that's the case then forget what i said.
I don't really like Iron and Wine much though
Digging: Trophy Scars - Holy Vacants
Yeah he has Calexico with him full time now I think. If this is anywhere near as good as The Shepherd's Dog... well some unmentionable things will happen.
Wtf I posted this as news two weeks ago and it never got put up. Oh well, song rules, can't wait for the album.
Digging: Satan's Satyrs - Wild Beyond Belief
This isn't terrible. Hopefully, the full album does something similar to The Shepherd's Dog. That album rules.
There a release date for this yet?
song is different but great. Sam Beam can do no wrong.
oh holy jesus!
Depressing fact of the decade: people like Iron & Wine.
"Depressing fact of the decade: people like Iron & Wine."
You smell bad.
Song was awesome. I like that he's going to continue with the more electronic sound of The Shephard's Dog. Can't wait for album.
Digging: The Hold Steady - Teeth Dreams
holy shit that beard
Seems kinda ordinary and boring by his usual standards. I loved how eclectic Sheperd's Dog was and I'm not hearing any of that here.
I enjoyed it, but I hope that there is a little more going on in the album.
Not sure you can judge how eclectic an album will be based off one song.
He looks like a more sophisticated Zach Galifiniakis.
I thought this album was called Kiss Each Otter Clean

This. Really disappointed by the song.
Ya'll be some fuckin' haterz 4 real.
Its too bad he will never record anything like the creek drank the cradle
which is okay because the shepherd's dog is better
Nah, TCDTC is his best work, I think.
lo-fi folk albums are a dime a dozen. the creek drank the cradle did it well, but the shepherd's dog brought something new and unique to the table and that's something i value a lot more in a record.
nvm what the fuck was i thinking
tombits: I hear ya bro, both LPs are 5s for me, so.
Shadow: Hahaha, you know of my hard-on for Iron & Wine
The shepards dog sucked
such profound insight! votek please stick around, music needs you.
spell my name right, and maybe I will.
Jan 25. In case anyone was wondering.
