alex kent is the shit. don't know what the fuck y'all are talking about. while is a real boy is still my favorite say anything album, the bass work on idotg is miles and miles ahead of its predecessor. clearly because of this guy.

Say Anything is still alive as long as Max and Coby are in the band.

andcas i care about this more if it helps, but i feel like this band has already peaked, and pop-punk isn't really my thing. I did like Was/Is a real boy and IDOTG but just didn't feel any desire to even pick up their latest after listening once.

What I'm trying to say is if I want to listen to this band ill listen to one of those and be content.

Don't mean to poke my head into the convo but I was a bit skeptic about their latest myself, even being a fan before it's release, but after maybe 3 or 4 listens I found myself enjoying it profoundly.

Anyways, band is good, got some good songs, has weak moments in the cheesy lyrics (see: Crush'd, but I think that was purposefully cheese) but altogether don't really see anyone in their genre, or anything close to their genre, doing anything as interesting as this dude. I mean, IARB is seminal, but their last two albums were still pretty solid.
