New Black Eyed Peas Album

2010-08-04 by Nagrarok | 35 Comments
While Black Eyed Peas are still promoting singles from last year’s The E.N.D., the foursome have announced they’re just about finished their sixth album. Unsurprisingly it will be titled The Beginning and according to the Associated Press, it could be with us by the end of 2010.

No release date has been confirmed but will.i.am said it is tentatively scheduled for the end of the year. He added, “It symbolizes growth, new beginnings and starts, fresh new perspective.”

Will said the group’s goal is to keep the momentum going.

“We came out in ’98 and our career, if you would look at it on chart, there’s no dips in it,” he said. “For our career to still be healthy and vibrant and doing things like six million downloads, it’s pretty significant.”

Really surprised to see him mention their earlier work, considering how much they shat on it.

Agreed with Eclectic. Behind the Front is still an amazing album, and a total hate on what they now do. Hypocrite much BEP ?

This sounds like an incredibly shameless cash grab. Bet it's going to be recycled electronic beats with some mediocre lyrics. Wait, they did that on The E.N.D.? So now they're just COMPLETELY stagnating?

Call it quits guys, now.

This is great news. I've been wanting more songs that repeat the song's title 100 times.

Yeah, now they're stealing beats and riffs from whole new artists. Also, there will be a piano ballad or something.
