New Heart Album 2010-07-23 by Nagrarok | 15 Comments | After a hiatus of six years, Seattle rockers Heart are coming back with a new album. The follow-up to 2004's Jupiter's Darling is entitled Red Velvet Car and will be released on August 31st in the USA and August 30th in Europe.
The European edition will feature two bonus tracks. The album was produced by Ben Mink, who has collaborated with Rush in the past and produced albums for Barenakes Ladies, among others.

Heart were very successful in the 70's, creating hits such as 'Crazy on You' and 'Barracuda', and became one of the first female-fronted rock bands, centered around sister duo Ann and Nancy Wilson.
