Somehow, I think they might release something of a better substance since they're no longer under the huge label they were in before, but hopefully something of better substance, since they're independently releasing it.

But that's just me being speculative, assuming Cuomo can actually come up with something different than he has always done the past 20 years.

i saw Weezer live and i had a lot more respect for the 'new material' in a live context. sure it's kind of cheap and superficial but i can accept that that's what weezer is now. i am honestly interested in this release, if not necessarily looking forward to it.

Lol EC please review this your Raditude review is one of my favorites on the site. Although actually you will probably just want to make all the exact same points as you did on that one so maybe it wouldn't work.

weezer baffles by how high they are shooting on this one. Pinkerton reeked of pretentiousness, but pinkerton was also not shit. They are putting out all the stops to not only give off a hyper advanced form of the pinkerton smell, but also somehow find a way to suck worse then raditude.

The Stones got the same treatment as Weezer are getting now. Zeppelin nearly did but didn't, and the Beatles could have but didn't so they're out of the question.
