Wouldn't you rather allow people to listen to your music and decide if it's good or not, and then decide to purchase it rather and download it, like it, but still feel they don't need to purchase it? It's all a response to internet downloads.
Quite honestly, i would allow free downloads of my albums and music, but offer hard copies with a lot of extra's, like art and stuff. Then people would really feel like they were getting their moneys worth and want to support my band. But that's just me.
