Twilight: Eclipse soundtrack stream
2010-06-02 by Dave Donnelly STAFF | 47 Replies | 3961 Views

The soundtrack to Eclipse, the third film in the Twilight series, has been made available to stream in full for the next 12 hours.

The soundtrack, whose July 4 release will precede the movie's general release on July 9, features new and old tracks by the likes of Metric, Muse, Florence + The Machine, UNKLE, Vampire Weekend and a collaboration between Beck and Bat For Lashes.

I have one idea.

Collaborate and mix this series with the Living Dead series. See how those faggy Vampires handle a horde of zombies.

I still laugh over the fact that My Chemical Romance were asked to write a song for the first movie, but it was just too gay for them. Of course, the first movie was typical Catherine Hardwicke bullshit in that it was just an anthology of pointless music videos so it's not like they were missing much.

Edward Cullen and I are like Emmure and a trashcan.

It (he) belongs inside it (me). ;)

In other news, this is going to suck in equal quantities to the movie and book.

ok, so the movies suck, but I really like the soundtrack for this one. The Black Keys, The Dead Weather, Beck, and Vampire Weekend? Awesome.

Beck's song with Bats for Lashes is really great.

I want to see Twilight vs Bruce Campbell, with a backing track of Open Face Surgery. I would pay to see that.

I'm sold. Throw in Willem Defoe on Bruce's side for a tag-team match and we may have the kind of fight Don King would sell his left nut for.

Stephanie Meyer recently said she'd been listening to Ha Ha Tonka a lot, but I would be so pissed if they became nationally known through the twilight saga.

Maybe i'll listen to the beck/bat for lashes song.
I was a little heart broken when Death Cab made a song for the last movie. =/
I think i'm the only girl left that hasn't seen the movies or read the books.

I like the way the Battles song starts off like a chilled out indie rock track then gradually gets more dissonant until it changes into their typical fast math style.

Twilight soundtrack good? Hardly. I find Paramore, Linkin Park, and Collective Soul far from enjoyable. This soundtrack on the other hand is stacked with awesome artists.

It's almost like you could hear the music in the trailer straining under the labor of trying to make 90 minutes of mopey teenagers disinterestedly moping look awesome.

Sounds like they didn't really put much effort into it, which is understandable.
