As awesome as this... fighting modern technology? Come on, Mike. You know as well as any of us that the only people who are going to be able to tell the difference are the audiophiles who bore people into comas whenever they speak.

Any listener can easily tell the difference between something recorded using modern technology and something recorded using the stuff from the late 70s to mid 80s which is what i assume they will be using.

On a second note, i can't wait for this album. They have yet to put out an album that i did not like.

Okay. Better question then: Who the hell outside of said audiophiles is going to give two shits?

Band is fine and all but if they plan to win this fight against modern technology they will lose...as long as they only want to win on the front of the recordings they want to make...then we can still call this legitimate.
