If it doesn't match up to All Is Violent I'm not sure I'll bother, because it'll just be the same thing but done slightly worse.

That's actually sort of funny. God is An Astronaut/Sputnik feud. You have to be pretty miniscule to get pissed at a partially user
based website.

edit: Unless there's something else to it. From the way you described it, it sounds like they just got upset by a review written for

far from refuge was my favorite of theirs. liked all is violent too.

Good band, but listening to a full album of theirs seams harder than most post-rock.

Meh, I can't blame them. That review WAS kinda shit. BTW, i agree w/ BrahTheSunGod about the title track. Really nice riffs there. Definitely a standout track from the album.

Yes, most definitely. Like I said, I wasn't expecting this, it's quite a step up actually.

Oh, and "Shining Through" is a virtually flawless track, esp. with this rerecording.

The rest are just good

The first half of the album is boring, but it really picks up in the second. I just finished the title track, which was awesome.
