Norma Jean Release Album Art
2010-04-28 by WhiteTieBlackJacket | 42 Replies | 3928 Views

Norma Jean have opted to forgo releasing their album art in any conventional way such as posting it on their Myspace/Facebook pages. Instead they have decided to unveil the artwork for their upcoming album, Meridional through a self-designed video clip (link below).

The album is set to be released on July 13.

Cool artwork, which hopefully will not go along with hackneyed music.

O'God the Aftermath is probably the only good thing they've ever made. Hopefully this will be too. My hopes aren't very high however.

That last comment being said before I actually watched the video.
And I must say, the background music was not bad.
Of course, I'm judging off a 30 second clip of music..I'll at least check it out when it is

O God was one of my favorite metalcore records ever, eveyrthing else has been good but not great, except Anti Mother, that sucked.

That video just got me fucking stoked.

That guitar part sounds pretty technical for Norma Jean compared to previous efforts. Should be interesting.

YEah, the song is called "The Anthem of the Angry Brides," and it's track #2 from the record (so says the article).

Sounds good; I'm excited. I'm a Norma Jean fan, especially of 'O God....'. "Liarsenic" was the song that opened the door for me for mostly-screamed, dissonant metal, so I owe Norma Jean a lot.

Sounded kinda mathy. Love the technicality, vocals sounded intense as well. Ahh, good ol' Norma Jean.

Yeah, I was pretty impressed with both the album art and the clip. The clip sounded a lot like Redeemer, to be honest, and that
isn't a bad thing imo. Redeemer gets way too much flak. It's a solid record. Corey sounds so pissed off through the entire thing.
