Not really tripped out enough for a 420 release, but it's pretty good for Sevendust....

No one has reviewed it yet. I have only listened to it once since I got it at Best Buy today and I thought it was pretty good. I like Chapter VII better, but maybe this one will grow on me. The making of the record DVD was fun to watch.

Terrible album
|
| |
It's tragic this gets less attention than the BFMV stream news. Solid, enjoyable album.
|
| |
Sevendust?
lol
|
| |
I think it's a great record, tbh.
|
| |
Pretty meh. Chapter 7 and this sound almost identical...
|
| |
What's with all these albums streaming lately? I may or may not listen to this. Sevendust is a good band.
|
| |
*was a good band. Alpha was the last one that was even moderately enjoyable, and Animosity was the last one that was actually good (imo, I know some of y'all like Seasons...). This one starts out kinda promising and then just begins sucking ass.

After watching the DVD that came with it, I can definitely tell that these guys worked very hard on it. I think that Chapter VII had a lot more variety and better guitar work, and these two are by no means identical. I quite enjoyed having Sonny Mayo on Alpha and Chapter VII, but it is nice to see Clint back. This album was more personal for these guys, so I can see how a lot of people don't understand it as much as they do. It is definitely not their best effort, but it is still enjoyable. Splinter, Forever, Unraveling, Ride Insane, The End is Coming, and Strong Arm Broken are some solid tracks.

lol this is getting a lot of smack. I love it.
|
| |
yea, I guess I'm just not as down with their transition from a hardcore and grunge influenced nu metal band to more mainstream rock or alternative as others. I got into these guys about 13 years ago, and just can't get into their newer sound. To each their own doe
|
| |
I personally find it pretty enjoyable

Not really since both blow.
so does ya mom
|

BOOOOOOOOOOOM
|
| |
This band has to be one of the least relevant bands right now ever. So outdated and crappy.
Ugh...
|
| |
still love me some LaJon vocals.
will listen soon, not expecting to be blown away, but thouroughly pleased with it.
|
| |
not bad. its sevendust, you know what to expect. starts very strong, then gets tiring after about track 6
|
| |
They always sound the same.
On a side note.... Can't wait for new Melvins album, and *cough* TooL *cough*
|

" What's with all these albums streaming lately? "
Exactly what i've been thinking, and none of them are the ones i'm anticipating.... like The National's new album, for instance...
|
| |
I think this album is great! The guitar work and drumming are much better than some of the latter albums imo. Even a few great solo's! They take so much flack. I am sure i will too!

Clean that wax in your ears.
|
| |
holy fucking tits, this band is still together?
