Joanna Newsom's new triple album (!) is set to be released in February, but, to tide you Newsom fans over, there's a new song, called "81", streaming over at her label's website, at www.dragcity.com. The stark, minimalist album art has also been released (and pretty much fits "81"'s simplicity quite nicely) , and is in the comments.

song's incredible. it's like a perfect mix of the milk eyed mender and the ys style; but still feels fresh and new. album art is what it is. i don't mind it, though i'm not doing backflips about it either. i mean, that ys art is beautiful.
