Believer Working on New Album
2009-12-06 by Trey Spencer STAFF | 16 Replies | 990 Views

In a posting on the band's official Myspace, Jeff King has announced that the band are officially working on a new album. While he didn't have a lot to say about the musical direction, he did confirm that it will have the same line-up as 2009's Gabriel and that writing is being handled by everyone in the group. This second fact should be exciting news for fans as all previous albums since 1989 have been almost entirely written by Kurt Bachman and Joey Daub.

I'm excited. Gabriel is going to end up in my top five albums of 2009.

Gabriel was excellent in the music department but the vocals, I find, could use a bit more work. Looking forward to this.

I kinda figured others would have trouble with the vocals like me. Can't wait for this.

An adjustment of vocal style would be cool, but they don't ruin the album at all.
