At least on Dear Diary and Heroine they had a niche they fit in. I saw them live off of their self titled with (get this) August Burns Red, The Bled, The Human Abstract, and Every Time I Die... They got on stage and (especially compared to their stage-sharing peers) it was SUCH a bore. Their new stuff is emotionless and generic. And Matt has no presence live. Get a front man and turn up the energy. Now they are simply "ok". But you can't be great if you are catering your guitar playing so you can sing over it.

dear diary was pretty good, i LOVED heroine, and i really liked theyre self-titled so im actually looking forward to theyre new cd.
