2009-11-26 by J. Ponton EMERITUS | 13 Replies | 1015 Views

The Absence have given an update for their progress in the studio with their next album, Enemy Unbound, that can be found in the link below.

"So far, everything is on track and going great," guitarist Peter Joseph tells Noisecreep. "We just can't wait to get this beast done and unleash it on the world!"

Enemy Unbound is due out sometime next year on Metal Blade Records.

I've always heard these guys are a decent melodic death metal band. If this next release is good, I'll probably look more into their other stuff.

It's definitely worth your time, Observer. They are one of the very few bands playing quality melodeath these days. Counting down until the release of Enemy Unbound.

I was actually going to get one last year when I was on my Necrophagist binge

Then I was thinking about getting a Caparison

I finally settled on an ESP Micheal Amott Ninja Signature

Only probably with the Xiphos is that the Edge III tremolo sucks on balls. Just deal with a generic body shape and get a RG, much better guitar in every aspect.
