yes... weed can cause heart attacks. it speeds up the heart beat and screws with blood pressure and if your heart is in bad shape already it can trigger an attack.

I like the analogy given above. Yes it does increase your heart rate, but like he said you would've gotten one anyway from walking up a flight of stairs so the effect is negligible.
