Good news, they have made so many albums together I was wondering when they'd run out of good ideas for songs... oh yeah that was nine years ago. Although i dont really want/need to hear a new ozzy album im sure this can only help its chances to surprise me and be a worthwhile listen. For the record Zakk Wyldes absolutley shreds... he's just been around so long I cant imagine many people would still have fresh ideas for songs after releasing as many albums as he has.

He's a great guitar player, but that doesn't mean he also can't be a poser. I worked with him briefly in the early 90's, when he was in Vancouver doing some Ozzy stuff, and he was really cool - even played on some of my personal work, real down to earth guy. Didn't pound his chest once, or go on about how cool he was, or how much people who don't like Ozzy suck, or anything like that. I think he's outlived his usefulness now.

i find this news relieving. zakk wylde started to sing like ozzy after a while and that in itself, is posing. oh yeah, and just because you can play really good guitar, it doesn't necesarilly mean you can make good music.
