Ooh, yay. Kind of excited for this.
|
| |
Vena Sera was great hopefully they can keep what they got going.
|
| |
I just started getting more into them, funny...
They're actually not that bad, they remind me of that kind of slower sludgy rock/metal/whatever
|
| |
This is amazing news. Album title is kinda iffy, though.
|
| |
looking forward to this
|
| |
Hell yes! I was wondering when this was going to come out. Chevelle is one of those bands that seems to get better and better with each album. Vena Sera is one of my favorite albums ever, and I can guarantee that this new album will not disappoint. Heavier is good for Chevelle.
|
| |
Based on their history, this should be a pretty solid album. I always liked these guys.
|
| |
Vena Sera is meh but I'll probably end up getting this. Love their old stuff.
|
| |
For the record, Wonder What's Next > Vena Sera >> This Type of Thinking. (don't have Point #1)
I will very likely enjoy this, seeing as how I know of just 3 or 4 songs from them that don't do anything for me.
|
| |
WWN > VS > P#1 > TToT
|
| |
im surprised the bassist is actually wearing a shirt now
|
| |
They got a new bassist during Vena Sera. I believe it is their brother in law, so yeah, that guy is probably still not wearing a shirt lol.
|
| |
what a crappy tour line-up. But should be a solid release.
|
| |
lolz @Christian Bale's comment, I saw that asshole more often than not with his shirt off
|
| |
Heavier Chevelle should be amaze.
|
| |
Will more than likely be fairly predictable, yet solid and enjoyable as usual.
|
| |
I wish they would lose their overly tweaked production and get back on track with records like Point #1.
|
| |
Shush wizard, lol.
|

^ Steve's got it right.
Definitely stoked for this.
|
| |
I'd actually like to see them go back to the chorus-less stuff of the first two albums. Great production is a good thing, idk about "overly tweaked".
|
| |
Vena Sera had more interesting guitar parts. Hopefully their use of "vintage amplifiers" will combine the gritty sound of the first couple albums with the more thought out instrumental parts. Yay for bassist with a shirt, Joe Loeffler seemed like a douche bag.
|
| |
YES!!
cant wait!
awesome year for music... :D
heavier chevelle will rock, most likely. hate to see them with staind though.
it'd have to be a good album to make me go out to see them w/ staind...
|
| |
I've seen some of their studio updates for this album, and it's looking pretty great :]
I think these guys rock, I have the last 3 albums and there isn't a single song that I don't enjoy in some way.
|
| |
I've been sitting here for 5 minutes trying to think of something to say.
This is just going to be amazing.
I don't like to use the word Epic, but I have nothing else to say except this is going to be freaking Epic.
|
| |
I can't wait for June 29. I wanna hear that song.
|
| |
expecting a Jom review for this one
|
| |
Same here, though I wanted to do it.
|
| |
Staind is still around?
|
| |
Kinda curious about this. They used to be one of my favorite bands.
|
| |
Drops June 23rd, actually.
My bad.
|
| |
I didn't know this was on it's way out, but sounds to be decent!
|
| |
Great production is a good thing, idk about "overly tweaked".
The production is so tight on their last two albums (compared to their first two) that it would choke you purple.
|
| |
i liked liked the new song sleep apnea, thought it was pretty good
my old band used to cover the song point #1
