New Drudkh Song Posted 2009-05-31 by BallsToTheWall | 7 Comments | Ukranian folk-infused black metal band Drudkh have posted a new track entitled 'Distant Cries Of Cranes' to MySpace. The band's new album Microcosmos is scheduled for release on June 22 via Season Of Mist, with a US release to follow on July 14.

Song is epic, not quite as epic as the first song I heard from this that pulls out two blistering solos and an Agalloch-y accoustic pattern immediately but still pretty sweet. Still need to order that shirt/cd combo from S.O.M immediately.
