Contest: PJ Harvey & John Parish

2009-05-18 by Dave de Sylvia EMERITUS | 8 Comments
We've teamed up with CAA and Island Records to offer you a chance to see PJ Harvey & John Parish on their upcoming US tour in June.

The duo are touring in support of their second album together, A Woman A Man Walked By, which was released in the US on March 31, coinciding with a short run of dates surrounding the SXSW festival in Austin, Texas. The forthcoming tour is to be the pair's first extensive tour of the States, beginning in Atlanta, GA on June 2.

A Woman A Man Walked By follows 1996's Dance Hall At Louse Point, however Parish has acted as producer on a number of Harvey's solo albums, most notably 2007's White Chalk. For both of their collaborative outings, Harvey has written and sung lyrics, with music written and performed by Parish.

We have two of the hottest tickets in town for each of the upcoming tour dates:

6/2/2009 // Center Stage Theatre, Atlanta, GA
6/3/2009 // Madison Theater, Covington, KY
6/5/2009 // Warner Theatre, Washington, DC
6/6/2009 // House of Blues, Boston, MA
6/7/2009 // Trocadero, Philadelphia, PA
6/9/2009 // Beacon Theatre, New York, NY
6/11/2009 // Vogue Theatre, Indianapolis, IN
6/12/2009 // Riviera Theatre, Chicago, IL
6/13/2009 // Minnesota Zoo Amphitheater, Apple Valley, MN
6/19/2009 // The Warfield, San Francisco, CA
6/20/2009 // The Wiltern, Los Angeles, CA
