An interesting collaboration indeed. I don't really care about this guy, but he came up with some really cool synths in the last Celestia album so i'll give this a chance.

Well, we can certainly assume that if it wasn't suicidal black metal before, now that Mark Hunter is in it, people will likely kill themselves.

Eh, Xasthur is alright. Production is a little off for what he's trying to do (seriously, bad production can be great but programming through an SNES is not producing.) Kind of worried about this though, lol.

I'm not particularly big on either. The Impossibility of Reason (?) was the only Chimaira album I really enjoyed on any level. Pass Out of Existence (sp? title?) was alright though. Anything after kind of eh.

New Shining and Xasthur records this year. 2009 is going to be the battle of the bleak and the oppressive with only one coming out on top. Will get both and see which i like more.
